Broadcast Stations To Terminate Analog Broadcast Tuesday

WE HAVE MOVED OUR SITE TO HTTP://WWW.TRANSITION2DTV.ORG
******************

Congress earlier this month passed the DT Delay Bill, pushing the controversial date back to June 12, 2009.

This was to support the millions of American unprepared for the switch from analog to digital television viewing. However, on Tuesday, February 17, 2009, 220 full-power television stations analog signal will end before this date as well as 421 stations terminating their analog signals tonight at 11:59pm.

The impact to the underserved communities is yet to be seen. Our non-profit, the Urban Progressive Foundation has been tirelessly going out to the local communities to educate, train and install residents’ digital converter boxes.

DeeNice Rhodes, Executive Director of The Urban Progressive Foundation, states that their goal is to assist those in need so they will not be left in the dark. DTv Transition Push The Date Back Please

For the last several months it has been well noted at our non profit organization that our country would not be ready to the transition to Digital Television.

The $40 off government coupons have run out. Accept for the close to 14 million expired coupons which totals apx. @560,000,000. Wow that's a lot of loot!!

We need to pushthedateback.com - its the only way.

With over 21 million Americans clamoring to determine that they are going to do - we need to make sure each person has the option for free viewing experiences.

Seniors, Minorities, Disable and Rural are disproportionately impacted by this transition.

Let's make a call for change - go to www.pushthedateback.com campaign to sent a letter to Captiol Hill. Or go to pushthedateback.net to sign the petition.

Until next time
